Job summary

Carter Lumber in Port Clinton, OH is seeking an energetic yard associate to assist contractors and DIYers with selection and loading, and to keep the yard organized for efficient pickup or delivery. You will pull and stage materials and help maintain inventory while supporting a friendly, team-based shop floor.

The role requires being able to work outside in all weather conditions and to learn forklift operation with provided training. Full-time benefits are available.

Description

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
