Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a committed individual to assist contractors and DIYers in our Westville location. You will help with the selection and loading of orders, maintain organized inventory, and ensure the Yard is clean and functional.

Ideal candidates possess customer service experience, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work outside in all weather conditions. Full-time employees enjoy health benefits, disability options, and more after 30 days of employment.

Description

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if you haven’t operated one previously, we will train you and help you attain certification.
