Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is hiring for an outdoor yard associate in the United States. You will assist contractors and DIY customers, helping them load orders and locate the right materials.

You’ll pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery, maintain yard inventory with cycle counts, and keep the yard clean and organized. Forklift operation is required after training and certification support.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Friendly personality essential.
• Familiarity with building materials helpful.
• Team player with ability to work outdoors.
• Willing to operate a forklift after training.

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
