Carter Lumber is hiring a yard associate to assist contractors and DIY customers with selecting and loading orders at our Ohio location. You will pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery, and help keep the yard organized while supporting inventory control.

We welcome part-time or full-time applicants, and training for forklift operation and certification is available on site. Join a family-owned company with a long history of customers and employees in the industry.

Qualificações

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Friendly personality and teamwork are essential.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions is required.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful.
• Part-time or full-time availability is required.
• Forklift operation training may be provided on site.

Description

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
