Carter Lumber in Girard, KS is hiring a Yard Associate to help customers, load and stage materials, and keep the yard organized. You will operate a forklift after training, assist contractors and DIYers, and contribute to a safe, efficient yard. Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIYers with order selection and loading.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery.
• Maintain yard inventory with cycle counts and organization.
• Operate forklift after training and attain certification.
• Support a clean, safe work environment in the yard.

Description:
You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven’t operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
