Job summary

Carter Lumber in Ohio is hiring a Yard Associate to help contractors and DIYers with order selection and loading. You will pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery and assist customers on the yard floor.

You will also maintain yard inventory with cycle counts and keep the area organized and clean. Forklift operation is available with training if you haven’t used one before.

• Familiarity with building materials is helpful
• Ability to be a team player
• Ability to work outside in all conditions

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with selection and loading of their order.
• Pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered.
• Help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts.
• Keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift; training provided if needed.

Description
