Job summary

Carter Lumber is hiring for a yard associate to support contractors and DIY customers. You will help select and load orders, pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery, and keep the yard organized. Training for forklift operation is provided to eligible applicants.

Ideal candidates bring customer service experience, a friendly, team-focused attitude, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. We promote from within and offer comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Description

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
