Job summary

Gator Dredging in Largo, FL is seeking a reliable Yard Laborer – Helper to join our shop yard team. This full-time role involves general cleanup, tool operation, basic building maintenance, equipment care, and light deliveries while working on-site in our yard and shop at 1401 Lake Ave SE.

The ideal candidate is local to the Clearwater–Tampa area, able to work in all weather, possess a valid driver's license, and bring experience with hand and power tools; forklift and OSHA certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license with clean record.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Welding and mechanical experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• General cleanup and maintenance of the shop yard and storage areas.
• Operate small hand tools and small power tools.
• Perform general building maintenance including changing filters and trash removal.
• Maintain equipment including washing, grinding, and painting.
• Load/unload tools and materials; deliver to jobsites.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Deliver parts and run errands by company vehicle.
