Job summary

Vermeer Southeast Sales & Service, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Service Support Technician in Florida to assist the Service Department with yard operations, equipment movement, and shop support.

The role includes operating a forklift, moving heavy equipment, loading and staging gear, and keeping yards and service bays organized. You will spend the majority of time outdoors in varying weather, perform light pre-delivery tasks, support technicians, and uphold safety practices while handling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of safety practices for equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move, stage, and organize equipment.
• Move and reorganize heavy equipment in yard and service areas.
• Unload incoming equipment and transport to designated areas.
• Assist with equipment pre-delivery preparation and basic service tasks.
• Support service technicians with setup and movement.
• Spend about 75% of the day outdoors; uphold safety and cleanliness.
