Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Yard Shipping & Receiving Agent for our Niagara Truck Shop. The role covers yard/equipment management, receiving deliveries, labeling, and storing items, along with basic repairs and shop upkeep.

You will operate forklifts/front end loaders, move pallets, and ensure inventory accuracy in a fast-paced utility construction environment. CDL Class A is preferred; strong safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate yard equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Yard management of equipment and storage areas.
• Receive daily deliveries, verify contents, label, and store correctly.
• Audit incoming equipment for deficiencies.
• Load/offload trailers using forklift/front end loader.
• Assist with light repairs and general shop housekeeping.
• Keep equipment organized and well maintained.
• Perform routine warehouse tasks and inventory moves.
• Maintain safe work areas in shop, yard, and warehouse.
