M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Yard Shipping & Receiving Agent for its Niagara Truck Shop. The role supports yard operations, receives and stores items, and helps with basic equipment maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a CDL Class A, strong organizational skills, and 1–3 years of construction or welding experience. Expect physical tasks across shop, warehouse, and outdoor yard areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–3 years of construction, general laborer and/or welding experience preferred.
• Regular lifting of 40+ lbs, frequent bending/stooping; work across shop, warehouse, and outdoor yard environments.

Responsibilities

• Yard management of equipment.
• Receive daily deliveries; verify contents against packing slips/POs, label and store correctly, resolve discrepancies.
• Audit incoming equipment for deficiencies.
• Load/Offload trailers and trucks; move pallets between shop, yard, and trucks using forklift/front-end loader.
• Assist with light repair of various small equipment and tool repairs; maintain safe shop areas.
• Make sure equipment is organized and well maintained.
• Perform warehouse work such as maintaining inventories, moving pallets, stocking shelves, operating a forklift.
• Performs routine organizing, cleaning, maintaining and other general laborer responsibilities for the truck shop.
