Job summary

Yard Truck Specialists is seeking an entry-level Shipping and Receiving Coordinator for our parts warehouse in Bensalem, PA. This role involves pulling products for shipment, counting and verifying parts, stacking cartons, and entering items into the system.

The position runs 8:30 AM to 5 PM and requires a clean driving record. We offer training on forklift operation, safety rules, benefits, and opportunities for growth in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow procedures.
• Problem solving ability and basic computer skills.
• Some experience with FedEx and UPS is a plus.
• Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Pull product from storage and prepare for shipment.

• Prepare shipping documents and contact carriers for pickup.
• Load/unload trucks and participate in physical inventory.

Yard Truck Specialists is the nation's premier dealership for spotter trucks and terminal tractors. Headquartered in Philadelphia with additional locations in Harrisburg and Pittsburgh, we sell, rent, service, and rebuild more jockey trucks than anyone, anywhere, because we are backed by the largest truck fleet, the biggest parts inventory, and the best sales and service partners working today. Period.

We are currently seeking an entry level Shipping and Receiving Coordinator for our parts warehouse in Bensalem, PA. A clean driving record is a must. The hours are 8:30AM-5PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pull product from storage and prepare for shipment
• Count and verify part quantities
• Stack cartons on skids, stretch wrap skids, and identify contents
• May be required to prepare shipping documents and contact carriers for pick-up of shipments
• Load / unload trucks
• Enter received items into the system and store in proper location
• Participate in month-end and year-end physical inventory
• Keep warehouse organized, clean and in good condition
• Follow safety rules such as proper lifting techniques, and use equipment safely
• Operate forklift safely. We will provide training
• Work to accomplish company inventory accuracy goals
• Work with minimal supervision

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow outlined procedures and processes
• Good problem-solving skills
• Some experience with using FedEx and UPS
• Operate sit down and stand-up forklifts
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to count, verify, and key on hand quantities into the system

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand 8 hours per day, reach with hands and arms, and stoop and kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
