Job summary

Alter Trading is seeking an Equipment Operator for the Mankato, MN yard. You will supervise and facilitate material flow, maintain accurate records, and perform cashiering duties at the cash window and scale.

Responsibilities include processing cash tickets, handling documentation, and supporting daily operations. A safety-focused, team-driven attitude is required with a high school diploma preferred. Local candidates welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Visually verify inbound/outbound vehicles and enter weights.
• Identify metals and sort grades according to specifications.
• Process customer payments and verify accuracy of tickets and prices.
• Maintain paperwork for scheduled payments and filings.
• Answer calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate area.
• Develop reports and monitor performance metrics.
• Assist in training new administrative staff as needed.
• Comply with safety protocols and wear PPE.
