LKQ Corporation is seeking a motivated Parts Handler for our Production Yard/Warehouse in Crystal River, FL. The role involves safe maneuvering in the yard, locating and packing parts, handling paperwork, and supporting sales/dispatch teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift or order picker, labeling parts for shipping, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area. Physical duties and periodic travel may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret measurements.
• Experience with Outlook/Word/Excel is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Find/Retrieve parts and package them for delivery.
• Handle paperwork and pull work orders as required.

This position may be directed by the Production/Yard Leader to assure that the parts are handled in a safe, efficient, and proper manner.Essential Job DutiesSafely maneuver around the yard or warehouse.Find/Retrieve parts.Package parts for delivery/or preppingAny paperwork involved with the parts.Pull work orders.Use hand tools and power tools to remove parts from cars.Operate a powered industrial truck (forklift) or order picker.Pull and prep all sheet metal and other orders.Tag all parts properly for the destination.Communicate with Sales and Dispatch.Must display a positive and friendly attitude as well as appropriate behavior during work hours.Cleanliness must be maintained in the work area.Assume other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNot responsible for supervising employees.Minimum RequirementsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma/GED.Preferred RequirementsA working knowledge of automotive parts.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.Basic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records. May explain and offer guidance on routine procedures.Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive, and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.Decisions generally affect own job or assigned functional area.Results are defined and existing practices are used as guidelines for how to complete work activities; works closely with supervisor/manager who provides broad guidance and overall direction.Prioritize assigned and routine tasks.
