Qualifications

• 3+ years in metal recycling industry.
• 3+ years leadership and operations management experience.
• Experience managing scrap yard operations, recycling production, or material processing.
• Experience supervising production employees, equipment operators, and yard personnel.
• Strong safety leadership with OSHA and environmental compliance.
• Experience overseeing preventative maintenance programs and equipment repairs.
• Experience with inventory control and material management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in an industrial outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily yard operations to maximize production and efficiency.
• Lead safety programs and promote a zero-incident culture.
• Train employees on procedures and enforce practices.
• Coordinate maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Supervise yard personnel and provide performance feedback.
• Address operational bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard staff as needed.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and environmental policies.
• Support inventory control and material flow.
