The role includes supervising staff, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring regulatory compliance to maintain workflow and productivity.

The base salary ranges from $90,000 to $125,000 per year, with bonus potential and a range of benefits to support health, retirement, and time off.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the metal recycling industry.
• 3+ years of leadership and operations management experience.
• Experience supervising yard personnel and production staff.
• Experience ensuring OSHA and environmental compliance.
• Experience coordinating preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily yard operations, material processing, and scheduling.
• Manage throughput, equipment utilization, labor allocation, and efficiency.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime.
• Supervise yard and production personnel and assign daily work.
• Oversee safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain inventory control and material flow.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate corrective actions.
