Job summary

Galleher Industries is seeking a Yard Operator to safely move, load, unload, and stage steel, lumber, and materials to support yard and warehouse operations. This hands-on role ensures accurate order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and proper yard organization.

Requires 3–5 years of forklift/yard experience and hands-on operation of Combi-Lift or similar equipment in indoor and outdoor environments. This is not a pick/pack role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior warehouse, yard, shipping, or industrial material handling experience.
• 3–5 years of forklift experience; not an entry-level role.
• Hands-on experience operating a Combi-Lift is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload materials from flatbeds, trailers, and delivery vehicles.
• Operate forklifts, Combi-Lifts, and other material handling equipment to move materials.
• Stage, organize, and prepare materials for customer delivery and internal needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and logs; report damages or shortages.
