Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Current forklift certification/licence.
• 3–6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment issues.
• Ability to operate trucks, tractors, forklifts and pallet jacks safely.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and trailers between docks and plant locations.
• Operate straight trucks, tractors, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other operators for timely movement.
• Assist loading, unloading, pallet sorting, and related material handling.
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Complete required vehicle/trailer inspection and tracking documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and food safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
