Job summary

Reyes Holdings is seeking a Yard Jockey in McCook, IL to load straps, pallets, and shippers onto trucks and assist with pallet building and unloading. The role requires keeping hand trucks and tow motors charged and ensuring mule power on trailers before departure, while maintaining warehouse cleanliness.

The position emphasizes physical work with lifting 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs, and requires 21+ and 0–1 years driving experience, with a CDL permit to CDL license eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 0 to 1 year of specific driving experience.
• Class A CDL Permit to Class A CDL license.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load straps, racks, and shippers onto trucks during loading.
• Assist with pallet building and unloading to maintain organization of pallets and shells.
• Ensure hand trucks and tow motors are charged and placed for drivers; ensure a fully charged mule on trailer prior to leaving the dock for all DSD routes.
• Maintain general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard; assist with replenishment of product in the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
