Job summary

FNS, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a full-time Yard Equipment Operator to handle ESS containers and yard assets. Responsibilities include operating Straddle Carrier, Top Handler, Large Forklift, and Crane, performing loads/unloads, and ensuring safe, efficient yard movement.

You will conduct routine inspections, uphold safety standards, and coordinate with yard supervisors. Spanish language skills are a plus in this diverse, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating yard equipment (Straddle Carrier, Top Handler, Large Forklift, Crane).
• Understanding of container handling operations in yard environments.
• Valid equipment operation certifications.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Willingness to work shifts as needed.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard equipment including Straddle Carrier, Top Handler, Large Forklift, and Crane for ESS container handling.

Shift

• Shift 1: Monday – Friday Day Shift (5am : 2pm)
• Shift 2: Monday – Friday Day Shift (2pm : 11pm)

• Operate yard equipment including Straddle Carrier, Top Handler, Large Forklift, and Crane for ESS container handling.
• Perform container(ESS) loading, unloading, storing, and relocation within the yard.

• Follow all safety procedures and comply with yard operational guidelines.
• Work closely with yard supervisors and team members to maintain efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating one or more machines of the following:
  • Straddle Carrier
  • Top Handler, Reach Stacker)Large Forklift
  • Crane (Crawler Crane 250ton+)
• Understanding of container handling operations in yard environments.
• Valid equipment operation certifications
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Willingness to work shifts as needed.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
