Builders FirstSource in Springfield, VA is seeking a Yard Supervisor to oversee yard personnel, ensure safe handling of materials, and coordinate loading/unloading. You will train staff, manage shipments, and enforce safety procedures while delivering excellent customer service.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; 4+ years coordinating yard activities.
• Experience directing yard staff and handling materials safely.
• Ability to read schedules and perform basic math calculations.

Responsabilidades

• Direct loading, unloading, and movement of materials on site.
• Inspect outbound loads to meet shipping specs and safety rules.
• Provide on-the-job training on product knowledge and safety.
• Supervise yard staff and ensure clean, organized areas.
• Assist customers with loading and inventory information.
• Enforce safety procedures and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
