Job summary

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers in Gorham, ME is seeking a Yard Staff member to support live auctions by safely receiving, lining up, and handling consigned equipment for sale. You will assist with display, documentation, and customer service on a fast-paced auction floor.

The role requires operating heavy and light equipment, performing inspections, loading/unloading, and keeping the yard organized. A $1,500 bonus is offered for this role.

Qualifications

• Good customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Receives/releases consigned equipment for auction.
• Lines up equipment for display using the auction listing.
• Drives/operates heavy and light equipment.
• Performs facility inspections and basic housekeeping.
• Performs basic maintenance on owned equipment.
• Manages keys for equipment and loads/unloads using a forklift.
• Parks sold equipment on the ramp and assists with setup.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
