Job summary

Hacienda Home Centers, Inc. in Las Vegas, NM is looking for a Yardman to assist the Yard Foreman by maintaining yard inventory and filling customer orders from the yard.

You will help load orders, keep the yard organized, and ensure the yard is clean and safe for customers and staff. Responsibilities include verifying orders against yard tickets, maintaining security at closing, following PPE and uniform policies, and participating in training as needed.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of yard processes and heavy machinery
• Capacity to take direction and work under supervision
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Help every customer courteously and load orders to match yard tickets
• Keep inventory neatly organized and leveled in designated spots
• Sweep, clean, and organize all sheds
• Pickup trash around the yard to maintain a tidy area
• Verify orders against yard tickets and ensure accurate inventory outgoing
• Maintain yard security and ensure gates are locked at closing
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements (hats, gloves, goggles)
• Adhere to uniform policies (high-visibility vests and shirts)
• Assist with training and perform other duties as assigned
