Job summary

IAA Holdings, LLC (IAA), a RB Global company, is seeking a Yard Attendant to join our Yard Operations team in Grand Rapids, MI. The role involves vehicle check-in, detailed cleaning, moving vehicles, and assisting visitors. A valid driver's license and high school diploma are required; forklift/loader training is provided.

As the frontline of IAA, you will work outdoors in all weather using company tools and technologies, with opportunities for growth within the auction business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• There are physical demands of this role; this is not a desk job.
• An upbeat demeanor to ensure positive customer interactions is a must.
• Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible to operate a motor vehicle as required for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle check-in by recording and filing information on vehicles assigned to the facility.
• Detail (thoroughly clean) vehicles to improve appearance and value at auction, training provided.
• Operate passenger vehicles in a safe manner, moving vehicles around the facility and/or participating in drive-through auctions.
• Recover keys, license plates, and other information or objects from vehicles and store them properly.
• Assist visitors by providing guidance and directing them to the appropriate contact.
• Train and develop on the job in forklift and loader operation.
