Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Hillsboro, OR is hiring a Yard Jockey to support yard operations with dispatch and shipping/receiving teams. You’ll move trailers, position trucks for loading, and assist with loading/unloading.

The role requires attention to safety, a valid CDL or driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The company offers competitive pay and benefits. Weekend schedule: Thursday–Saturday and an alternating Wednesday shift.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with methods for moving product, including knowledge of laws, policies, procedures and strategies to promote effective operations for the protection of people and property
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Move full and empty trailers to scheduled destinations around the campus
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Assist in loading and unloading trailers when necessary
