Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Yard Associate / Equipment Handler for a client in Lawrenceville, GA. This full-time, temp-to-hire role offers hands-on experience with construction rental equipment, a strong safety culture, and opportunities for long-term growth.

You will load, inspect, and prepare gear, help maintain the yard, and work outdoors on 2nd shift. Fluency in Spanish or bilingual English/Spanish is required, and steel-toe boots plus weather-appropriate gear are a must.

YARD ASSOCIATE / EQUIPMENT HANDLER

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Yard Associate / Equipment Handler for a company based in Lawrenceville, GA. $18.50 per hour

Yard Associate / Equipment Handler Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction rental equipment and materials.
• Clean, inspect, and prepare equipment for customer use.
• Maintain inventory and organize equipment within the yard.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with general yard maintenance and housekeeping.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Wear required PPE and safety equipment at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must speak Spanish or be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Previous experience in construction, warehouse, or equipment handling preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move equipment and materials.
• Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Must wear steel-toe boots (STB).
• Must wear appropriate outdoor attire according to weather conditions and a jacket when working indoors if needed.
• Shorts are not permitted.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
