Job summary

Farm Country, Inc. in Sulphur Springs, TX is seeking a Yard Maintenance Specialist/Set-Up Technician to keep our yard and equipment in top condition.

You will assist with equipment setup, perform routine maintenance, and support the service department as needed. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, maintaining tires and oil stations, general yard work (weeding, mowing, trash pickup), washing equipment, and janitorial duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and equipment, assist with setup and janitorial tasks.
• Load and unload trucks for deliveries and transfers.
• Dump scrap metal and trashcans.
• Maintain tire pressure on equipment and on the lot.
• Oil dump stations and occasional equipment maintenance.
• Assist service department technicians as requested.
• General yard work: weed control, mowing, trimming, trash pickup.
• Wash and detail equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Title: Yard Maintenance Specialist/Set-Up Technician

Location: Farm Country – Sulphur Springs, TX

Reports to:All Management

Position Responsibilities:

– Overall responsibility is to keep the grounds maintained, machinery and other equipment detailed, assist with the set-up of equipment and assist in the maintenance and janitorial duties of the facility.

– Load and unload trucks (deliveries of new equipment and palletized items, store transfers, dealer transfers.)

– Dump scrap metal and trashcans

– Keep tires aired up on equipment on the line and sales lot.

– Maintenance of oil dump stations.

– Occasional maintenance of company-owned equipment.

– Assist technicians when requested by the service department.

– General yard maintenance: Spraying weeds, mowing, weed trimming, and picking up trash.

– Washing and detailing equipment as needed at the wash bay.

– Janitorial duties as needed.

– Other duties as assigned by management.
