The Yard Jockey role at Martin-Brower is open for candidates who can handle day, night, and weekend shifts in a warehouse setting in South Carolina. Key duties include loading, pallet building, and keeping equipment charged and ready for drivers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 0 to 1+ years of specific driving experience.
• Class A CDL Permit to Class A CDL license.
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Yard Jockey is responsible for loading straps, racks, and shippers onto truck during the loading process.
• You will assist with pallet building and unloading of trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells.
• This role ensures that the hand trucks and tow motors are charged and put in their respective places for drivers as well as all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on trailer prior to leaving the dock.
• The Yard Jockey maintains general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard and assists with replenishment of product in the warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned
