Oneida County is looking for a seasonal LTE Yard Laborer to assist with grounds maintenance at the Solid Waste Department. The position requires applicants to be self-motivated and enjoy working outdoors. This role offers flexible start and end dates, with work hours available through December.
Oneida County is accepting applications to fill a seasonal LTE (Limited Term Employee) Yard Laborer position with the Solid Waste Department.
JOB DUTIES: This position will assist department staff with grounds maintenance and other duties as needed around the Solid Waste facility.
QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified individuals must be at least 18 years old, have a valid Wisconsin Driver’s license and good driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Applicants should enjoy being outdoors and be self-motivated when given tasks to complete.
COMPENSATION: Starting 2025 wage for this position is $16.72 per hour. No benefits offered with this position.
WORK HOURS AND SCHEDULE: Position works 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Position is available beginning June 2nd with work hours available through December 5th. Start and end dates are flexible for applicants only able to work in the summer months. Some flexibility also provided with the work schedule.
