Job summary

Wagman, Inc. is seeking a Yard Laborer for its Field Service Center in Dinwiddie, VA. The role reports to the Yard Foreman and involves loading and unloading construction materials, yard and facilities maintenance, and supporting project progress to meet schedules.

The position is safety sensitive and may involve on-site duties with heavy construction hazards. A HS diploma or GED is required, with experience in construction yard and power tools preferred; a valid driver's license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Construction related experience is a plus.
• Operating forklifts, loading, and unloading trucks.
• Heavy equipment familiarity is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction material and equipment manually or using forklift, dollies, hand trucks or cranes.
• Inspection of material; sorting and/or stacking of incoming equipment and material.
• Prepare equipment and materials for shipment or delivery according to work orders.
• Transport materials, parts and/or equipment to job sites locally or regionally using non-commercial and commercial vehicles as needed.
• Perform general upkeep and maintenance of the yard, parking lots and buildings (including replacing light bulbs, picking up trash, lawn maintenance).
• Clean and wash various construction equipment.
