Job summary

Wagman seeks a Yard Laborer to join the Field Service Center team in Dinwiddie, VA. The role involves loading/unloading materials, assisting yard and facilities maintenance, and supporting project schedules under the Yard Foreman’s guidance.

This safety-sensitive position requires work on construction sites and adherence to Federal Contractor policies. A valid driver’s license and basic reading/writing skills are necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction environments is a plus.
• Able to operate forklifts and assist with loading/unloading.
• General reading and writing skills required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction materials and equipment manually or with forklift.
• Inspect materials and sort/stack incoming items.
• Prepare equipment and materials for shipment or delivery.
• Transport materials to job sites locally or regionally.
• Maintain yard, parking lots and buildings (lighting, trash, lawn care).
• Clean and wash construction equipment.
• Assist with cutting and finishing tasks as needed.
• Communicate daily with supervisor about tasks, orders and schedules.
• Occasionally work overtime for snow removal or cleanup.
