Job summary

Walbec Group is seeking a Yard Laborer/Forklift Operator for the Waukesha shop. Under the Shop Foreman, you will support multiple departments and help keep the yard organized. Responsibilities include moving concrete forms, parts, and assisting with tear downs, while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires a valid license, attention to detail, and the ability to work varied hours. Forklift operation and CCP certification are preferred, with opportunities for training and career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use basic shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Keep designated shop and yard areas clean and organized.
• Move concrete forms and pipe parts; assist with tear downs and parts cleaning.
• Maintain the yard and perform basic repairs to tools and equipment.
• Assist technicians by pulling and delivering parts as needed.
• Clean service bay, mop floors, and dispose of waste properly.
• Operate forklift and adhere to CCP certification requirements.
• Work varied hours including nights and weekends as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.

Under the direction of the Shop Foreman, the Yard Laborer will support various people and departments, and will also provide support by moving concrete forms, pipe parts, and keeping the yard organized.Role and Responsibilities:Keeps designated shop and yard areas clean and organizedMaintain the facility in a clean, neat, orderly, secure condition.Perform maintenance and repairs to company tools and equipment as needed.Assist technicians as needed i.e., pull and deliver parts, assist with tear downs, parts cleaning, mechanical support, etc.Clean service bay, mops floors, dispose of used oil, filters and coolants properly.Complete minor repairs as needed.Monitor and advise management of needed shop supplies.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.Requirements :A valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
