YOUR DAY

Throughout the day as our Yard Laborer, you'll assist customers in unloading and inspecting materials, help with upgrading and processing metals, and ensure the yard is organized and safe. You'll operate tools and equipment as you move and prepare scrap for recycling. With each task, you'll contribute to maintaining an efficient, well-run yard that plays a key role in recycling and reducing waste. It's a fast-paced job where every day brings something new, and your hard work helps ensure our scrap yard operates like a well-oiled machine!

THE QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working in a construction or general labor position
• Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to work outside in all weather conditions and wear all necessary PPE
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Physical ability to work on uneven surfaces, stand/walk for extended periods, climb ladders, crouch, bend, reach overhead, and perform repetitive actions
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and be self-motivated
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with great attention to detail

Having knowledge of metals and being forklift certified are preferred but not required!
