UFP Industries, Inc. in Coatesville, PA is seeking a Jockey Operator to organize trailers on-site using the Yard Jockey truck. The role may involve forklift use for loading/unloading and requires adherence to safety and company policies.

You will perform equipment inspections, secure loads, maintain documents, and participate in safety programs. High school diploma and 6 months of yard trucking experience are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 12th-grade basic education completed or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience driving a commercial vehicle or yard jockey.
• Knowledge of vehicle parts and basic minor repairs to keep equipment safe.
• Forklift driver licensing to be completed within 4 months of hire; CDL not required.

Aufgaben

• Safely drives within the facility, staging shipping loads in varying weather conditions.
• Completes daily equipment inspection sheets and maintains records.
• Loads and unloads trucks as needed to support production.
• Inspects and secures loads to ensure proper handling and safety.
• Maintains shipping documents and completes paperwork as required.
• Operates a forklift to load/unload trailers when needed.
• Participates in safety programs and training as required.
