Job summary

The Yard Driver at NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. reports to the Team Leader and is responsible for day-to-day operations, moving materials and trailers between the warehouse and yard safely and efficiently.

You will operate equipment, assist in receiving parts, verify part numbers, quantities and colors, and load trailers. A valid driver’s license and forklift certification are required, with overtime possible to meet customer production needs.

Qualifications

• The role requires knowledge of warehousing, material handling and transportation processes.
• Ability to work well with others in a cooperative team environment.
• Demonstrated reliability and dependability.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and be trained efficiently.
• Ability to learn computer applications and use scanners to meet demands.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and perform warehouse receiving duties including yard driver tasks.
• Certification to operate the NXAL yard driver is required and a valid driver's license must be maintained.
• Assist in receiving parts, pull parts per work instructions, verify part numbers/quantities/colors, and load trailers (forklift license required).
• Overtime may be required on weekends or daily to meet production and delivery requirements.
• Handle parts weighing up to 50 pounds and work with minimal supervision.
• May perform other assigned duties as needed.
