Job description

Position Responsibilities:

• The Yard Jockey is responsible for loading straps, racks, and shippers onto trucks during the loading process.
• You will assist with pallet building and unloading trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells.
• This role ensures that hand trucks and tow motors are charged and placed in their respective locations for drivers, and that all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on the trailer before departure.
• The Yard Jockey maintains the general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard and assists with replenishment of products in the warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 0 to 1+ years of specific driving experience.
• Class A CDL Permit or Class A CDL license.
• Must be able to lift products weighing from 25 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
