Job description

Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmissions.

Availability to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime is required.

Position Responsibilities:
  1. The Yard Jockey is responsible for loading straps, racks, and shippers onto trucks during the loading process.
  2. You will assist with pallet building and unloading trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells.
  3. This role ensures that hand trucks and tow motors are charged and stored properly for drivers, and that all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on trailer before departure.
  4. The Yard Jockey maintains the general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard and assists with product replenishment in the warehouse.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
  1. Must be at least 21 years old.
  2. 0 to 1+ years of specific driving experience.
  3. Class A CDL Permit or Class A CDL license.
  4. Ability to lift products weighing from 25 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
