Job Description

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  1. Safely drive yard tractors and road tractors to and from destinations within a 20-mile radius. Move trailers at the site as needed.
  2. Complete trailer sanitation and inspection before loading, unloading, or staging on a dock.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of all transportation equipment. Notify management of any damage or repair needs.
  4. Store materials and equipment in storage trailers.
  5. Conduct inventory of all transportation equipment.
  6. Perform daily cycle counts and inspections of storage trailers, and record in the system.
  7. Support receiving by completing loading and unloading processes as assigned by the supervisor or lead.
  8. Ensure Trailer Entry process is followed.
  9. Receive incoming materials, verify documents and COA information, and report discrepancies.
  10. Inspect tooling, equipment, and large MRO orders upon receipt.
  11. Prepare and load outgoing shipments, including scrap loads, hazardous/non-hazardous loads, drums, returns, raw materials, tooling, and finished goods.
  12. Support shipping by pulling materials, preparing shipments, and repacking when necessary.
  13. Assist with cycle counts and inventories.
  14. Operate a forklift safely and proficiently to load/unload trucks and locate materials using a scanner.
  15. Communicate effectively with team members regarding daily tasks and instructions.
  16. Follow all policies and procedures, signing off during orientation and updates.
  17. Comply with Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health policies.

THE ENVIRONMENT

Safety is our top priority. Must work in an industrial environment and wear PPE such as safety boots, glasses, and hearing protection.

Qualifications:

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Valid driver's license, CDL, HAZMAT endorsement (or willingness to obtain), and forklift experience.
  • Experience in warehousing and inventory control preferred.
  • Proficient and safe forklift operation skills.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Ability to wear PPE including safety shoes, glasses, and hearing protection.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 12-hour shifts.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship provided.
