CP&P is looking for a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to deliver precast concrete products from our Winchester, VA plant. If you’ve hauled oversized or heavy loads and take pride in operating equipment safely and responsibly, this could be the right fit for you. In this role, you’ll operate a tractor trailer to make local and regional deliveries to customer sites and company locations. With all trips limited to a 200-mile radius or less, you can be home every night!

What You'll Do:

• Deliver precast concrete products to customer sites and company locations using a Class A tractor trailer
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
• Secure loads using chains, straps, and other appropriate equipment
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
• Follow all company procedures for safety, loading, unloading, and product handling
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and plant staff to coordinate deliveries
• Assist with loading or unloading products when needed
  
  
  

What You Bring:

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card
• Safe driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations
• Previous experience driving flatbed or heavy haul preferred
• Experience in construction, precast, or similar industry is a plus

What You Need:

• A high school diploma or GED
• U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  
  
  

Typical Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 40+ hours per week, depending on workload
• Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak production periods
  
  
  

Physical Demands:

• Standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, bending/stooping
• Lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Pushing/pulling (up to 50 lbs.)
  
  
  

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in a production and yard environment, with exposure to ambient weather and air conditions, loud noise, dangerous equipment, and variable lighting
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required in all production areas
