Job summary

Lineage is seeking a dock/yard associate in Riverside, CA, working Wed-Sat 3PM with pay of $20–$23 per hour DOE. Move trailers to and from dock doors per supervisor guidance while upholding safety standards and keeping trailers clean and fueled.

The role involves checking trailer/yard temperatures, fueling, and daily equipment inspections, plus logging movements and communicating across teams. 1/2-year min experience, lifting up to 40 lbs, and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• 6 months operating tractor trailers or heavy equipment.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs / 18 kgs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Check/set trailer and yard temperature; fuel as needed.
• Inspect spotter truck and equipment daily.
• Report defects, accidents or damages to vehicles/equipment.
• Maintain logs of trailer movements and fueling.
• Coordinate with departments on daily trailer movements.
• Check trailer inventory and report irregularities on logs.
• Perform sanitation duties on trailers as assigned.

Move trailers to and from dock doors based on instructions from supervisors or the shipping office while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Always ensure the cleanliness and adequate fueling of trailers.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Check/set trailer and yard temperature, add fuel if needed
• Perform daily inspections on spotter truck and equipment
• Report defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages to the vehicles and/or equipment
• Maintain logs of trailer movements and fuel
• Communicate with appropriate departments on daily movements of trailers

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Check trailer inventory and report any irregularities on log forms
• Perform sanitation duties on trailers as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• 6 months operating tractor trailers and/or heavy equipment experience
• Ability to understand instructions in Country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed

Pay Range:$19.18 - $32.40
