Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Sioux Falls is seeking a Yard/Trailer Operator to help manage trailer movements, monitor temperatures, and perform routine inspections. You will load, check fuel, and report any issues to the appropriate teams to keep operations running smoothly.

This role requires at least 6 months of heavy equipment or tractor-trailer experience, the ability to lift 40 lbs, and a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.

Qualifications

• 6 months operating tractor trailers and/or heavy equipment experience.
• Understand instructions in official language of the country.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Check/set trailer and yard temperature, add fuel if needed.
• Perform daily inspections on spotter truck and equipment.
• Report defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages to vehicles/equipment.
• Maintain logs of trailer movements and fuel.
• Communicate with appropriate departments on daily movements of trailers.
• Check trailer inventory and report irregularities on log forms.
• Perform sanitation duties on trailers as assigned.
