Job summary

The candidate should have at least 1 year of yard hostler experience, possess an active driver's license, and be able to operate PIT equipment. English fluency is required; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year Yard Hostler operation experience.
• Prior exposure to CPG and/or Food & Beverage industries (preferred).
• Ability to demonstrate decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of computer systems and/or warehouse management (WM) systems.
• Active driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Terminal Tractor to move trailers in and out of docks and parking stalls.
• Maintain yard by inspecting equipment, maintaining logs, and following safety procedures.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure energy sources are maintained for equipment.
• Conduct trailer inventory checks and yard audits.
• Collaborate with team to prevent yard bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
