Qualifications

• 1 year+ yard goat experience within the past 3 years.
• No DUI / Reckless Driving in the last 5 years.
• 22 years of age or older.
• No more than 3 moving violations or preventable accidents in 3 years.
• Ability to inspect vehicles and complete required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maneuver yard goats and trailers from dock to dock, swapping out trailers.
• Move approximately 80+ trailer moves per shift and blindside back when required.
• Maintain safety as a priority and comply with traffic laws and cargo securement when applicable.

Job Duties

• Yard hostlers will drive and maneuver yard goat & trailers from dock to dock switching out trailers
• Ability to work in fast paced environment, moving approximately 80+ moves per shift, and be able to blindside back
• Safety is always the key, so driver must be safety minded

Requirements

• Safe driving history with a strong commitment to defensive driving practices.
• Ability to inspect vehicles, identify safety concerns, and complete required documentation.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and proper cargo securement when applicable.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules.
• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• 22 years of age or older.
• 1 year or more of yard goat experience within the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations or preventable accidents on driving record for the past 3 years
• No DUI'S / Reckless Driving in the last 5 years.
