Job summary

Up-North Plastics in Cottage Grove, MN is seeking a Yard Hopper to operate Yard Jockey Trucks and sit-down forklifts on a 12-hour day shift, rotating 3 days one week and 4 days the next.

You will manage trailers, unload materials, inventory using RF scanners and inventory control software, and ensure accurate records. Competitive wages and benefits include Medical/Dental, paid vacations/holidays, ESST, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience operating yard equipment and forklifts.
• Current US driver's license (CDL not required).
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (6AM-6PM).
• Ability to maneuver trailers quickly in tight spaces.
• Basic computer skills for material records.

Responsibilities

• Relocate, dock, and transport trailers within the facility.
• Unload materials from trailers and inventory them.
• Record information accurately using RF scanners.
• Operate propane sit-down forklifts and Yard Jockey truck.
• Support production with timely material handling.
