Job summary

Custom Ecology, Inc. (CEI) seeks a full-time yard/yard dog operator to load trailers, tarp equipment, and perform routine yard maintenance. The role involves outdoor work, handling heavy equipment, and occasional backup for other company machinery.

A drug screen is required and the position offers competitive compensation and benefits. Schedule includes Monday through Friday with alternate Saturdays and a day shift. Pay depends on experience and weekly payroll is provided.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screen.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather elements.
• Physical activity including pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Loads trailers for safe travel.
• Tarp trailers using tarping rack.
• Perform routine yard cleanup.
• Backup Heavy Equipment Operator for various equipment.
• Operate Yard Dog with 48 ft to 53 ft trailer within yard.
• Change mudflaps, replace clearance light, grease 5th wheel on a tractor.
• Air up tires and repair/replace tires on trailers/equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads trailers for safe travel
• Uses tarping rack to manually tarp trailers
• Routine cleanup of yard
• Backup Heavy Equipment Operator for various company equipment
• Drives Yard Dog with 48 ft to 53 ft trailer within yard
• Change out mudflaps, replace clearance light, grease a 5th wheel on a tractor
• Air up tires and repair, replace tires on trailers / equipment when needed

Job setting

• Outdoors and will be exposed to physical environment elements
• Required to engage in physical activity that includes pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting objects
• Required to work from raised platforms
• Required to stand most of the workday.
