Job summary

PSS Industrial Group in Colorado is seeking a dependable yard associate to help maintain the yard and ensure equipment is ready for rental. You will unload, inspect, fuel, operate, and move machines while keeping the yard organized and safe for daily operations.

The role involves pressure washing equipment, multi-tasking in a dynamic yard, and collaborating with a team to meet priorities and ensure rent readiness.

Qualifications

• One to two years related experience.
• Previous experience operating a forklift and/or other heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Acute attention to detail, positive attitude.
• Must be able to work well in a team atmosphere.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm, and the capability to multitask.

SUMMARY: Maintains upkeep of the yard and equipment to ensure smooth operations of our rental business. Primary objective will be to assist and perform yard related duties to ensure equipment is ready to go out and as it returns ready to be check and serviced.

• Unloads new, used, and rental machines, while maintaining and organizing inventory of equipment.
• Checks in, fuels, operates, and moves equipment in the yard.
• Maintains an orderly yard free of debris, ensuring safe and efficient movement of goods and equipment.
• Pressure washes equipment to ensure it is rent ready.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
