Job summary

Pennex Aluminum seeks a Yard Helper for our Greenville, PA location. You will assist loading/unloading aluminum materials, and keep accurate records for incoming and outgoing goods. Attention to safety and reliable attendance are essential.

The role moves to night shift after training, with a $1.50/hour night differential. A valid forklift license and prior forklift experience are required, plus the ability to read instructions and work safely with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Keeps records of materials received and used.
• Inspects incoming materials and verifies bills of lading and pack slips.
• Uses forklift, loads log and billet onto trailers and unloads materials.
• Establishes or adjusts work activities to meet production schedules.
• Assists with dumping trailers loaded with scrap.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
