Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of related experience in lumber, building materials, warehouse, yard operations, or similar environment preferred.
• OSHA Forklift Certification required or ability to obtain certification as required by location.
• Ability to read and understand invoices, work orders, and other documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with locating, retrieving, and loading building materials.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move products throughout the yard.
• Verify materials against invoices and customer orders to ensure accuracy.
• Organize and stock inventory to maintain a safe, efficient, and customer-ready environment.
• Perform routine yard maintenance and housekeeping to keep the facility clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety standards and actively contribute to a culture of safety.
• Participate in ongoing safety meetings and training programs.
• Support team members with additional responsibilities as needed.
