Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking a yard associate to support customers and move products in our outdoor yard. You will operate a forklift, assist customers, and ensure inventory is properly stocked.

Under direct supervision you will follow safety procedures, complete paperwork, and perform related tasks as assigned. OSHA forklift certification is required, and a high school diploma or GED is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months’ experience with performing similar tasks or related duties.
• OSHA forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers in locating and loading product.
• Reviews materials loaded against invoice or requisition; processes paperwork accordingly.
• Moves product/material throughout the yard and ensures correct placement.
• Keeps inventory well-stocked and organized at all times.
• Performs routine yard cleanup and maintenance.
• Follows safety procedures; attends safety meetings; may suggest safety improvements.
