Job summary

Elevate Human Capital is seeking a Yard Forklift Operator to support inventory and material handling in the Houston area. The role involves safely operating forklifts and other equipment to move heavy products, load/unload trucks, and maintain storage areas.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus at least 2 years of experience and certification. The position requires outdoor/indoor material movement and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate Category V forklifts in pipeyard.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain required forklift certification.
• Transport full-length pipes and other materials throughout the yard, including loading and unloading trucks.
• Move various types of materials both indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Perform required preventative maintenance and routine inspections on forklifts.
• Maintain pipe storage racks and material storage areas.
• Support manufacturing operations by moving products to required locations.
• Assist with rig preparation and return operations as needed.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities when required.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Operate Cat V Forklifts
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Primary Function

As a Yard Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in supporting inventory and material handling operations by safely operating forklifts and other material-moving equipment. This position is responsible for transporting heavy products, equipment, and materials throughout the facility and yard while supporting manufacturing and logistics activities.
